Challenge:
Moving forward with its expansion plans which includes the opening of 23 new locations, Meriton Suites sought out the ability to be able to rely on a trusted security access solutions provider that could ensure guest peace of mind. The brand importantly also aimed to adopt technologies representing the latest functionalities in order to further boost guest experience quality.
Solution:
Thanks to Vingcard technology being prominently utilized across Meriton Suites’ portfolio of locations, more than 6,000 Vingcard door locks are already deployed to protect and control access to the brand’s suites. Leveraging a combination of Vingcard Essence, Signature RFID and Classic RFID door locks, Meriton Suites’ expanded relationship with Vingcard notably ensures cutting-edge keycard data encryption abilities that minimize the risk of intruders gaining unauthorized entry. At the same time, each lock’s attractive design and range of handle options also ensures that Meriton Suites can leverage the solutions to enhance each building’s unique style and interior décor. The scalable and future-proof design of each Vingcard lock also means that Meriton Suites can upgrade to enabling Mobile Access as guest demand for digital key services arises at each property.
As a brand that takes a strong stance on sustainability, Meriton Suites leverages its relationship with Vingcard Solutions as a way to adopt advances in eco-friendly practices. This includes utilizing the provider’s range of PETG keycards, a plastic key credential that is only 0.45 mm thick and yet while still durable, ultimately represents less material waste.
At each Meriton Suites location, Vingcard door locks and keycards are supported by the Visionline access management system. Tasked with generating key credentials for staff and visitors while restricting access to unauthorized intruders, Visionline is what provides each property’s employees with the ability to maintain a vigilant watch over potential security risks while still ensuring efficient operations and an uninterrupted guest experience.
