Challenge:
While hotel leadership desired a door lock representing the latest advances in security technology, the property also sought out a solution that could seamlessly blend in with the location’s ultra-elegant design.

After experiencing reliability issues with a previously installed door lock solution, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa opted to work with ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions to adopt an effective replacement following the impressive results experienced by one of the hotel’s sister properties. By selecting VingCard Signature RFID for each of its 124 guestrooms and back-of-house areas, the property notably gains advanced security capabilities that protect against the risk of unauthorized room access. This includes gaining full compatibility with the industry’s leading keycard encryption standards. VingCard Signature RFID also features a robust design that is tested to withstand multiple break-in attempts and is capable of ensuring product longevity against wear and tear.

For example, the solution is designed with instant Mobile Access compatibility. This allows hotels to activate digital key service capabilities once guest demand for the functionality arises, yet without the costly need to replace existing door lock hardware.
