With Sofitiel Legend Casco Viejo’s architecture firm taking the lead on adopting an effective security solution, property goals included adopting technology that while representing the latest in hotel safety, could also enhance the hotel’s unique style and luxurious design.

With the deployment of VingCard Signature RFID, for example, the property gains an advanced door lock solution featuring the latest in data encryption protocols that minimize the risk of unauthorized room access.

With a goal to enhance the comfort and convenience of its guests, the hotel’s decision to adopt VingCard Signature RFID is also driven by the solution’s compatibility with Mobile Access. With the feature enabled, Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo can provide its guests with the option to use personal devices as secure digital room keys. This capability significantly allows guests to skip waiting in line at the front desk during arrival, while providing hotel staff with more time to focus on other tasks that are essential to ensuring high-quality guest experiences.

Both VingCard Signature RFID and Mobile Access are supported at the property by the Visionline access management system. With Visionline, hotel staff can effortlessly manage security access operations and can proactively monitor for any potential security threats requiring immediate attention. This includes the ability to instantly cancel keycards suspected of being stolen or used inappropriately.
